In Thursday's Daily Journal, the CAAF denied Moreno's writ-appeal. As you will all recall, United States v. Moreno established the ground rules for examining post-trial and appellate delay.

On consideration of the writ-appeal petition and Appellant’s motion to stay proceedings, it is ordered that said motion to stay proceedings is hereby denied, and that said writ-appeal petition is denied.
